How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be a Life Coach?

When I started working in a leadership position at a new, full-time job, I was given a wide range of responsibilities, which included designing and implementing a robust customer retention plan, executing the annual sales and marketing plan, and hiring and supervising dozens of employees.

Through my experience at this organization, I learned how to become a confident and effective leader. I took bold risks in regards to our sales and marketing plan, which resulted in us reaching revenue numbers we had never seen before. I boosted our customer retention rates to unprecedented numbers. In the 5 years I worked in this role, I grew immensely and developed an attitude of courageous leadership.

Flash forward to 2020, the year that changed everything. After years of passionate work as a leader, teacher, coach, and mentor, I realized it was time to turn my passion into practical knowledge for the real world-- skills that women can use in their everyday lives to help them gain confidence, develop leadership skills, and achieve their wildest dreams. Becoming a Certified Life Coach was my great gift of 2020. Now, I coach women to become courageous leaders in their workplaces and their personal lives. I've been in these women’s shoes and I want to be the mentor and the coach that I would’ve wanted when I first started out.

Being a Life Coach is all about helping my clients overcome fear to create the life they really want. It’s about helping working women take bold action and shatter glass ceilings across the world.

What kind of clients do you work with?

I work with working women who want to increase their confidence, leadership skills, and capacity for upward mobility. They’re ready to take bold action and become “unstuck” from their careers or their lives.

How are you different from other Life Coaches?

Most Life Coaches will give you a “checklist” of sorts, for what you should be doing or should not be doing in order to reach your life goals. While this can be useful, I’ve found that, in order to really achieve your dreams at an accelerated pace, the real secret sauce is taking courageous action. Most life coaches don’t teach you courage, and certainly don’t teach you how to turn this courage into action.

I founded Shattered Glass Coaching because I believe that women can not only be great in the workplace, but achieve dreams that might not even be on their radar because they are so far beyond what they believe is possible. This requires that secret sauce that I call courage. Because when it all comes down to it, most people let their fears, big and small, hold them back. In your work with me, I’ll address this fear head-on and we’ll work together to turn it into courage.

Something else that makes me different is the friendly approach I take with my clients. Working with me feels familiar and our sessions will sometimes be laced with humor. I push my clients to achieve great results, all while laughing and having fun. When working with me, my clients feel like they are talking with a friend/mentor, rather than being scrutinized by an intimidating boss or manager. I vow to "speak your language" and make your journey a fun one - with the kickass results to go along with it.

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?

I have limited openings for clients in my schedule, so please know I’m very selective about who I work with, choosing to (gently) turn away women who aren’t suited for my program and won’t get the results they would have invested in.

My 90 Days to Courageous Leadership Program was created for women who are absolutely committed to achieving their goals, willing to make bold changes in their lives, and reliable enough to show up for themselves every day.

I will not work with women who blame others for their problems, make excuses, are content with being “good enough” and not striving for more, or are unwilling to invest their time and energy into reaching their full potential. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not schedule an initial conversation with me and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

How can I guarantee myself that I will get results from life coaching?

If you’ve tried things and failed in the past, chances are that you didn’t have the right support, the knowledge, or the right accountability. In 90 Days to Courageous Leadership, you’ll get all of these. Part of the reason for the significant investment in this experience is to ensure that you show up for yourself like never before.

Do people ever renew and continue working with you?

Yes, about ⅓ of my clients want to continue the work. They love the ongoing support and the stretch. If that’s something you’d like, I’ll share how you can do that as we get closer to the completion of the program. The information and skills you learn - and the personal transformation you make - with the 90 Days to Courageous Leadership Program will be with you forever, transforming your career and your life in so many ways. If you want to continue past the 90 days, we can continue working together.

Okay, I’m ready to do this for myself, but I have a couple of additional questions. Can we address them in our Breakthrough Session?

Absolutely. We’ll be sure to cover all of your questions, plus the Breakthrough Session will give you firsthand experience of what it would feel like to have a powerful coach and mentor in your corner.
