For You To Truly Thrive, Your Health Must Be A Priority
Although I am an Executive Life Coach who specializes in helping driven women thrive professionally and personally, health is a topic that I discuss with every single one of my clients.
Why?
The short answer: being healthy and well contributes to success in every other area of your life. If you aren’t healthy, you can’t be at your best for your family, your career, your friendships, or any other area of life. For you to truly thrive, health MUST be a priority.
When I say health, I am absolutely not just talking about your weight. The overall picture of your health and wellness is so much more than just a number on a scale. Your weight is just one metric of your health, but not THE metric.
I encourage the women I work with to choose 3-5 different ways to measure their success in terms of health. Here are some other ways (besides weight) you can measure how healthy you are:
Hours of sleep each night
Amount of exercise
Energy levels
Strength
Stress management
Endurance
While the number on the scale can be a useful tool, it is just one way to measure your health.

Looking at the overall picture of your health is incredibly useful. There are so many aspects of your health beyond just your weight. Focus on making small changes in several areas of your health, which will lead to an overall healthier lifestyle.
