22 Tips For Gaining Confidence in 2022
A common theme that comes up in my life coaching work with women is the subject of gaining confidence. I think it would be fair to say that almost everyone I meet wants to have a general sense of belief in themselves– to trust their abilities and to move confidently through life with control and self-worth.
Building confidence isn’t always easy, especially if you’re unlearning disempowering thought patterns that have been running through your mind for years. Fortunately, life coaching is an effective way to build confidence in yourself and learn to trust yourself. It’s all about that confident mindset, baby!
I challenge you to make 2022 your most confident, empowered year yet.
But how?
I’m sharing 22 powerful actions you can start taking NOW to gain confidence in 2022. Start taking action today and you’ll be amazed at your increase in confidence in the coming months.
22 Tips For Gaining Confidence in 2022:
Go out to a nice restaurant by yourself.
Instead of restricting your diet, focus on nourishing your body with foods that give you energy.
Journal daily.
Focus on carrying your body with confidence. Put your shoulders back, sit straight and tall, chin up, and smile.
Select a signature scent.
Get dressed and ready each morning, even if you work from home.
Tap into your creative side - pick up drawing, painting, or photography.
Go on a solo vacation.
Make a list of all of the things that make you feel confident– a “confidence menu” of sorts. Select an item from the menu to incorporate into each day.
At the end of each week, make a list of everything you accomplished (big or small) that week.
Try breathwork or meditation.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
Try martial arts.
Use positive self-talk to overcome negative thoughts or beliefs.
Be prepared. The more you prepare (for anything!), the more confident you will be.
Set goals, break them into small steps, and celebrate each step you take.
Exercise. Those endorphins do wonders for your mind!
Declutter your house, bedroom, car, or closet.
Read an empowering book. Here are some of my favorites: You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero, Pussy: A Reclamation by Regena Thomashauer, and Untamed by Glennon Doyle.
Attend a wellness retreat.
