3 Life-Changing Productivity Tips

Being more productive does NOT mean you work harder. It doesn’t mean you work longer hours either.

I polled my audience of professional women and asked what topic you’d like career coaching tips, tricks, and hacks on. The answer was clear:

PRODUCTIVITY TIPS.

Increasing your productivity so you can get more done is simple— as long as you have systems in place to hold yourself accountable… so you can have more time to actually enjoy yourself: to have fun with your friends & family, do something for your health, or maybe just get caught up on rest.

I just finished my video series: 30 Days to Peak Productivity. This was a 30-day series that included expert productivity tips, techniques, tools, and hacks— to help professional women like you eliminate distractions, regain your focus, and get more done in less time. ✅

If you want to binge all 30 videos, head to my Instagram or LinkedIn to access them.

And y’all, the video series was a hit! But, out of all 30 videos, there were 3 that stood out the most, that my Life & Career Coaching clients told me were life-changing. I don’t gatekeep (in fact- I love to give away value for free), so I want to share these tips with you, so YOU can skyrocket your productivity. 🚀

The 3 Life-Changing Productivity Tips:

  1. The 60/10 Method: Science has proven that the best way for you to achieve peak productivity is to work in intense bursts of 60-minutes each. Set a timer for 60 minutes and, during those 60 minutes, eliminate ALL distractions. Work for 60 minutes, then recover with 10 minutes of something enjoyable, like going for a walk or listening to music. (This video has almost 15,000 views already! 😱)

  2. Monday Hour One: When you first start work on Monday morning, spend the first hour of your workday sitting with your planner and scheduling the week ahead. First, make a list of ALL your tasks/to-dos for the week. Then, write how long it will take you to finish each task (an estimate is fine). Finally, block them off on your planner/calendar as time slots. This is incredibly effective because it turns your to-do list into an actual plan, which means tasks won’t slip through the cracks. Shoutout to Brooke Castillo at the Life Coach School for this great tip!

  3. Reward yourself for being productive. When we do something well and are rewarded for it, we get a shot of dopamine and it signals our body to keep going. Rewards keep us motivated! Applying a personal rewards system to your daily tasks will boost your productivity. It keeps you motivated and incentivizes you to focus on completing your tasks so you can get the prize at the end.

If you apply these 3 productivity tips, I guarantee your productivity will skyrocket, and you’ll be getting more done in a day than you ever thought possible. It’s not about working harder- it’s about working more efficiently– so you have time for the things that really matter in your life.
